She was taught, at a tender age, that love between a man and a woman was an illusion, the prurient imagination of an overzealous heart. She was told that it was less likelier to happen than a rare shooting star. Yet, she fell in love with a man, and he with her, and that little teaching, from her mother, became nothing but a fallacy.

She loved and loved deeply, and she believed she would love forever. She hoped that their love would last forever.

But something happened. Something that caused him to forget her.

So, she learned to accept that painful fact—or so she thought until she woke up one morning and her heart started to pine for him once more.
